Drone Inspection and Construction Documentation in Manatee County

Blue Nose Aerial Imaging of Tampa Bay is based in Parrish, in Manatee County, and new construction runs through much of the county. We work in Bradenton, Palmetto, Lakewood Ranch, Anna Maria Island, and Ellenton.

Development along US 301 and I-75

The US 301 corridor on the north side of the county has grown quickly, with new subdivisions and commercial sites moving from clearing to closeout. We fly those sites on a fixed schedule from the first cleared lot to the final building, so the owner and the lender can compare progress from one visit to the next.

The I-75 corridor through Ellenton, east Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch adds retail and medical buildings to the same work, along with light industrial sites.

Lakewood Ranch associations

Community associations in Lakewood Ranch manage clubhouses and amenity buildings across large properties. A single flight gives the association board a dated record of every shared roof before it plans the next budget cycle.

Port Manatee, Palmetto, and the coast

Warehouses and logistics yards around Port Manatee and Palmetto carry wide low-slope roofs, where a thermal flight finds wet insulation before it spreads. On the west side, Anna Maria Island and west Bradenton take the salt air and storm exposure of the Gulf. Milton made landfall in neighboring Sarasota County in October 2024, two weeks after Helene, and both storms damaged roofs along the Manatee coast.

Sarasota Bradenton International sits near the county line, and sites close to it need FAA authorization before we fly.

What we fly in Manatee County

We fly every service we offer across Manatee County. Most of our work in Manatee County is construction progress documentation on new development, and thermal and visible-light roof inspections on warehouses and commercial buildings. After major storms, we document roof damage on the coast and inland.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you document construction projects from clearing through closeout?

We fly a site on a fixed schedule from the first cleared lot to the finished building. Each visit captures the same views, so progress is easy to compare from one date to the next.

Can a drone inspect association roofs in Lakewood Ranch?

A single flight can cover the clubhouse and the shared roofs across an association property. The board receives dated imagery of each roof, and the association’s roofer confirms any repair work.

Do you need FAA authorization near Sarasota Bradenton International Airport?

Sites near the airport sit in controlled airspace, and a flight there needs FAA authorization first. We check every address and request the authorization when the site needs it.
